In May, I had the privilege of teaming up with Jo Davies Photography for the Chambers Wales Business Awards 2026.

When I’m photographing an event, I always try to capture the whole story. The layout of the venue, the stage, the presenters, the guests, the atmosphere and, most importantly, the award winners.

Working alongside another photographer is one of the real benefits in events like this. While I stayed by the awards banner to photograph the winners as they came off stage, Jo was photographing the awards being presented on stage. It meant we could capture two very different sides of the event, the raw emotion as the winners received their awards, alongside the more polished, ‘staged’ photographs for the winners and the event.

There was a fantastic buzz around the Chambers Wales Business Awards, and it was a real privilege to be one of the photographers there to capture it. Get in touch if you would like to discuss your awards evening or event being photographed.
